I'll start with an apology:
This story will never be finished the way I planned on finishing it.

In my mind, I have a grand concept, of not only the plot, but the characters, the interactions, the many aspects of morality involved, the emotional developments, and all those other things that together create a much more intriguing and compelling comic.

The thing is, I've finally made peace with the sad fact that I will never be able to execute all of that in my current situation.
My service in the IDF is very different from the one most people do. I'm going through one of the longest preperations and training courses and even after almost a year in it, I'm still far from finished with it. The thing is, this path I've chosen doesn't enable me any free time at all. I barely have time for myself because of the intensity of the course.

So what does it mean? it means that, sadly, the comic will change, maybe not in the way I want it to. There is a possibility that I will start doing traditional work in the 2nd act because I rarely have access to a computer. But as for the plot, it means I will focus less on characters and their interactions and developments, and more on the plot, the story itself. I'm aware of the fact that this takes me much further away from the main concept of nuzlocking, but let's admit it - this project only uses the nuzlocke platform only as a very vague base for a much grander storytelling.

It also means I have NO idea how frequently will I be able to update. Seriously, no idea at all. It all depends on how much free time I'll get in the future.

Anyway, I wanted to thank you all true readers, for staying here with me and reading the comic. You guys are the best, seriously.

as long as the comic is still there, it doesnt matter how long it takes to update.
btw dont take it as a stressful chore. nuzlocking is for fun

I am very glad that with you everything is all right and that the army didn't make you too adult for pokemon.

Reply Luffy327, September 18th, 2012, 8:28 am

It good to have you back just keep doing what your doing

Reply TheKometh, September 18th, 2012, 8:35 am

I believe that red tentacle thing is blood.

Reply Calumrb22, September 18th, 2012, 9:26 am

I know exactly how you feel, my nuzlocke has a grander plot behind the usual nuzlocke requirements, and its taken me a year to just get my head around how I am going to do it all.

Although I love this comic, and would like to see it in it as it was intended, I understand the sacrifice.

Maybe you might be able to find someone to help you in creating the comic? A thought.

Blood = Time

This is one of these things that's either really stupid or really clever.

You're alive! I'm glad. I'll keep praying for your safety over there.

As for this nuzlocke, We will keep waiting as long as necessary. I have no doubt that whatever tale you spin, it will be masterful. I will wait patiently for the next update, however long it takes!

Reply Haunshaul, September 18th, 2012, 1:35 pm

Regardless of your update schedule, it's good to have you back!

Reply shadow7127, September 18th, 2012, 2:59 pm

IDF? assuming that stands for "Israeli Defense Force" and not some weird branch of the US or UK militaries that I've never heard of, I'm going to say, I had no idea you were Israeli :O
anyways, while it is sad to hear the your comic may not live up to the nuzlocke masterpiece you were hoping for, I'm sure the result will nonetheless be incredibly good, and I assure you that if we are still reading after all this time we will continue to do so, regardless of your update schedule

Reply ShanaFlareon, September 18th, 2012, 4:49 pm

that's okay, we can wait. i was looking at this yesterday wondering when it would come back after you left. good luck I'm sure it will still be good.

Just found out about this nuzlocke and caught up. The story is amazing. This is easily one of the more impressive Nuzlockes I've had the pleasure to read. I wish you much luck on your journey, and I hope that all goes well for you. Stay safe.

@.:AuraX:.: I've thought of a way blood=time makes sense. Time flows, and so does blood. If either of them stop flowing, life as we know it would cease.

Very good.

@TheKometh: and i think at the end apollo dies because red is wearing apollos scarf

Reply Miles Hikari, November 2nd, 2012, 9:12 pm

Hey man, don't worry about it. It's obvious that you have fans here who want to see this comic, your work, no matter how long it takes. Don't give up on what you wanted to do because of limited time, just go at your own pace. No one here is rushing you.

Either way, good luck in the service and with everything else life throws your way.

@soldierboy: D': WHY WOULD YOU SAY THAT?!?!?!? OMG i may cry lol

Reply mysterydude, November 7th, 2012, 6:52 pm

i believe @TheKometh: i believe that apollo dies at the end since the last pic shows (i think) red wearing a red scarf which is probably apollo's

Aw, it's been a year since the last update... I hope you're okay!

Yeah, I just finished reading this comic, and it's actually in my top 3 favourite Nuzlockes! While the other two have more focus in other areas, I love your world building! Seriously- making Team Rocket a huge corporation instead of them being openly evil is a new idea!
Blue's characterisation... God, I love the kid. Seriously, in the entire franchise, my favuorite Pokemon characters have always been Blue (both game and Pokemon Special) and Gary, so I'm extra critical with their characters. I really like your explanations for Red and Blue's character, and that Blue's raticate DIDN'T die during battle, and that he was... trampled to death...
God, that was sad.

The art style! Wow! It's just so... I have no words for how awesome it is.
